Music Understanding and the Future of Music Performance

Roger Dannenberg is a senior research scientist at the School of Computer Science and Fellow in the Studeio for Creative Inquiry in the College of Fine Arts at Caarnegie Mellon University.  His work is focused on various aspects of computer music, a field which poses many challenges for computer science. He also directs the Just-In-Time Lecture Consortium, which offers a new technology for low-cost, computer-based training and education.
