MCDS Program Ranked Among Top Data Science Degrees

The LTI's Master of Computational Data Science program has received recognition from multiple publications as one of the top graduate programs in data science nationally

The LTI's Master of Computational Data Science (MCDS) program was recently recognized by two major publications as being among the best graduate programs in the country for the study of data science.

Both Fortune and TechGuide published rankings this year of the top programs in the highly competitive and in-demand field of data science. The MCDS program ranked number five on Fortune's list, while coming in at number seven in TechGuide's rankings.

"It’s no secret that the need for data experts is growing due to the exponential amount of data being generated every day," according to the preface to Fortune's rankings. "One of the best ways to gain the in-demand skills to be able to harness, analyze, and create value from data is pursuing a master’s degree."

The article highlighted the MCDS program's 100% graduation rate and 100% one-year retention rate during the 2022-2023 academic year.
